Casual Research Assistant

Background

The Department of Management and Marketing is recruiting casual research assistants to assist with a range of research projects underway within the department. These projects range across the fields of General Management, HRM, International Business, Marketing, Operations Management and Organisational Studies.

Responsibilities

As a Research Assistant you will undertake a range of activities depending on the nature of the research being conducted. This could include (but not be limited to) the gathering, input, and analysis of data collected as part of a project. This role may suit you as it allows flexibility in working hours and exposure to an interesting array of research activities. Successful candidates will be required to undertake the duties assigned under supervision, and to meet deadlines as specified.

Candidates

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an appropriate academic background: normally we would expect an honours degree in commerce or business, demonstrating studies in the appropriate fields, or suitable postgraduate qualifications in appropriate fields.

Duration

The duration will vary from project to project.
