Casual Marking Assistant
Background
The Department of Management and Marketing is recruiting casual marking assistants to assist with the marking of the undergraduate and postgraduate subjects to be offered in 2009. Our subjects range across the fields of general management, HRM, International Business, Marketing, Operations Management and Organisational Studies. Responsibilities
As a Marking Assistant you will undertake purely marking activities. This role may suit you as it allows the maximum flexibility in working hours. Successful candidates will be required to undertake marking of subject assessments, normally two or three per semester and examinations within a specified period following their availability. As a minimum, Marking Assistants are expected to be available for each assessment in a subject during one semester of the academic year.
Candidates
Applicants must be able to demonstrate an appropriate academic background: normally we would expect an honours degree in commerce or business, demonstrating studies in the appropriate fields, or suitable postgraduate qualifications in appropriate fields.
Duration
Marking Assistants are required for semester 1, 2 and Summer often starting around mid semester and during the final exam period at the end of each semester.
- Examinations: Monday 16 January - Friday 20 January
- Examinations: Monday 8 June - Friday 26 June
- Examinations: Monday 9 November - Friday 27 November
